Hatha Yoga Mixed Level
If you would like the opportunity to work with a bit more complexity in the postures, this is the class for you. While working with the class format of the "basics" class, the postures offered will be more challenging and varied as we explore the practice of yoga in more depth. You will be encouraged to work at your own pace. Previous yoga experience will make this class more enjoyable. One size doesn't fit all in yoga however, so
modifications will be offered so that the practice works for you.
Restorative Yoga
This is a series of postures which are supported through the use of bolsters and blankets. The body can be supported in each posture without effort, creating a deeply healing and nurturing experience.
Yin Yoga
The slow, passive, deep stretch of Yin Yoga relaxes the body and calms the mind. Spending time in simple, effortless yoga postures imparts a deep sense of rest. Cultivating this calming relaxing energy is vital to maintaining balance in a busy, active life. Unlike Restorative Yoga, these postures can be challenging at times as we work deeply on the connective tissue or fascia of the body. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.
