What they say about it: Offers strength and serenity. It activates our energy reserves.
I'm finding this to be a very calming energizing. Not overly stimulating to the mind. Just a nice overall calm energy. It is suggested that it be practiced 5 to 10 minutes at a time. It could be done 3 times a day.
Here's how I approach a mudra new to me. I notice how it affects my breath first. Where I feel the breath? Does the rhythm of breath feel changed?
I notice if it brings my attention to any particular place in the body. What sensations are there? I notice it's effect on my mind...soothing, energizing, etc.
To me this mudra feels like it brings the kind of energy that would not be overly stimulating as summer heat arrives. Give it a try and see what you think.
